Inhaler (Young Kids):

For infants and younger children under 4 years of age asthma medicines are generally prescribed using a Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) with a spacer (air chamber) and a mask to cover the nose and mouth.

Always use a spacer. Using a Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) alone is NOT recommended by the Canadian Consensus Guidelines.
